November Reflection
Updated: Jun 7, 2022
So far so stressed? I am finding the workload for final year a lot more than previous years, which I knew but didn’t want to know. I think that also having a part-time job is also stressful in third year because I don’t have much free time, which is understandable.
In terms of Stage One I am really struggling to find a topic that I can properly focus on because there are so many interesting topics! I know I want to do something around health and wellbeing which is a start however I don’t know how niche or broad to go, so I need to take a step back and clarify the situation so I can get my head around things. The literature review is also stressing me out because I’ve never done one before and I’m struggling to see how I can pull it together, so I am going to focus on that in the next few weeks, as most of the report is centred around that.
I also gave tours around campus to new students starting next year at NTU, I was a brand ambassador and specialised in talking to students who are going to be studying courses within the school of Art and Design, which was fun and pushed me out of my comfort zone, speaking and leading groups of around 30-40 students around the NTU campus.
Things are amping up at work also as it is getting towards the Christmas period and the shop is extremely busy, full of bustling customers! I know I am going to have to prioritise my university studies as well so I am going to try and balance it the best I can.
I am looking forward to switching off a bit during the Christmas break and enjoying time with family and friends, eating nice food and watching the telly! However, I know I have a lot of work to be doing so I need to make sure I get that done.
